what're the kids saying these days? FML?

My employer informed us today that they were cutting 5% of everyone salaries. Effective two days ago, as there was "a last minute company wide phone conference" that my boss said she didn't think she would be able to get ahold of us. Not that she tried. And we had worked the day before and talked to my boss, who neglected to mention then that I was working for less money.

When one of my coworkers said "if that's how it is, you might be losing some employees soon," to which my boss replied, "well if you're going to quit, try to let us know beforehand so we're not screwed here."

So yeah, my career as a poolboy has pretty much drawn to it's overdue close. I'm looking for jobs, not that much is going on in that world.

Here's the real challenge...not just suddenly quitting, but quitting retroactively. Is there some way that I can undo a previous weeks' work? "Oh, I quit! and I'm talking all last week's work with me!"

How to undo the work of someone who cleans pools?

I think your main problem is to decide how to redirty the pools. Your own feces would be the most gratifying but even your prodigious output might be strained. I personally would favor the addition of earthworms or velociraptors.

I do more work on the equipment than cleaning, so that could be easily undone with a sturdy hammer.

I wouldn't dirty the pools, I'd lower the ph so when they'd jump in, they'd dissolve. And then their family would dissolve when they came to help.
